Fall Playtime

I took the girls outside to play in the leaves. At first Maggie wasn't so sure about them but then she began to have fun in them. Eva had a blast in the leaves. She was enjoying throwing them all around the front yard and on Maggie and me. Eva LOVES the outdoors no matter what the weather is like outside. She loves being in trees, she sometimes thinks she is a monkey. She mostly enjoys playing with Maggie Moo. Maggie enjoys being outside and especially when she is playing with her big sister and Mommy or Daddy. She is getting so big now and is walking little bit more everyday.

Bible Study Session 6

Yestreday I had my 6th bible study session. It was great and I am continuously learning more about my my faith and I am really enjoying it. I am enjoying that I am able to get out for a couple of hours very Tuesday and learn about my faith and the scriptures. We finished up with Egypt and Exodus. We talked about Moses recieving the 10 Commanments from God, The Golden Calf and the instructions the Moses recieves on how to build the Tabernacle and everything that goes with it. It was fascinating to be able to break down everything and now I have a better understanding of what the 10 Commandments and their meaning. As well the whole Golden calf and the Tabernacle. Now when my girls have questions, I will be able to give them a different way at looking at things in the bible. Next we are too read the whole chapter of Numbers and all I that it continues with the Israelites near Mount Sinai and they move toward the Promised Land, and there is a lot of killing and that Joshua succeeds

Weekend in Ohio

Image
Thrusday October 8 Today we drove to Ohio for my brother-in-law Bob's wedding. I have to say I was extremely nervous about making this trip. I was traveling with my husband, Bob's closet friend Ray, and the girls plus me. I was in the back seat with the girls and it was a lot better than what I thought. Maggie slept a good portion of the way and Eva took a nap and was very good. She entertained us with singing songs, it was lovely. Maggie sleeping.....too cute Eva on the ride to Ohio Friday October 9 We didn't have muched planned for the girls to do since we had the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner that evening. So we took the girls to the pool and they loved it. Eva was so scared becasue she was about 6 inches taller than the water level so she could walk on the bottom of the pool, but she did it and was a proud momment in our family.

Maggie's First Haircut

Image
Today we took Maggie to get her first haircut. She sat so wonderful. I was only to get one picture of her sitting in the chair because she was so curious about everything around her. We just trimmed her back and bangs, eventhough she has no bangs, and added more layers. She naturally has layers so the stylist just added a few more. It is very cute. She also recieved a sucker afterwards and she kept putting the stick in her mouth not the sucker part.
