Family Vacation.....Day 2

So today we started the day off with a Character Breakfast.  Normally this be the one with the Princess' but they weren't available today, so we had a variety of characters.  While we were waiting for our table we took a few candid picture ops.

When our table was ready the restruant we were able to get a family picture done and the background was Cinderella's castle.  It was a buffet style breakfast and the food was fantastic.  The character's that we were able to get pictures with were Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.  Eva even took a picture of Tigger, and it even came out good.







 
After our wonderful breakfast, Eva was soooo ready to go see Mickey and Cinderella's castle.  She had a blast there.  She went on Splash Mountian, Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups,and saw the Country Bears show, to name a few.  Eva's favorite ride was the Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road.  We were going to watched the fireworks but we had to head back to the hotel early because I had to finish a paper for my Stats class.

Potty Training

Maggie is doing really well with potty training.  We started about 2 weeks ago with really pushing her to go on the potty and it helped too that she was showing more and interest with going.  She is wearing pull-ups and goes on the potty at least 2-3 times a day.  She has gone number #2 once on her potty but hasn't done it since.  She also has started telling me that she has to go potty, her pull-up is ususally dry and she does go.  Even when her pull-up is dirty, she sometimes will still on her potty and goes as well.  My goal is too get her in underwear and potty trainded by April when she turns 3 because next fall she will be in preschool.

 When Eva graduated from 8th grade all she wanted was a pair of old school Michael Jordan shoes that were black, white and blue.  So that is what we got her.  Now for Maggie we wanted to something to make her feel special since she had a difficult time with the whole COVID-19 pandemic.  She has always loved musicals, so we got her tickets for her and Jim to go see the musical WICKED.  They finally went tonight, and they loved it.  Jim said it was better than the first time he saw it with me.  They enjoyed a nice dinner on the 21st floor of a hotel and had 4 row tickets in orchestra section.  So glad that she felt like a princess.
