Life's Little Blessings

So today was Eva's first day of school and I was surprised that I did really well.  I was a little teary eyed but other that was okay with leaving her.  I know next year will be a lot harder when she goes to Kindergarten.  She went right into her class room and didn't want to give me a huge.  I was sad that she didn't want to give me one and Jim said I was probably embarrassing her.  I am was like who cares, that is part of my job as a mom.  I wanted to get a few pictures of her on her first day was only able to get one and I am determined to get a few more on her other days.  She will be going to preschool on MWF from 9-11:30 am, and she really likes her new teacher and is already starting the year on the right foot with listening to the teachers.  I am soooo looking forward to seeing what she will learn and discover this year.

Ray and Eric.....Singers and Guitarists                                   Joe.........Drummer Nick......Bassist Shark City Tonight we went and saw Red 70 Blackstar perform at Shark City bar in Carol Stream.  I took a lot of pictures and so I put a few of my favorites on here.  I also put a link to the album that I made so that you can view the rest of the pictures. It was a great night out with Jim and no girls.  I did miss them very much and Eva wanted to see the rock band.  In Oct. sometime they will put on a show that will be for all ages, so she will get to see them. Newborn 3 mos 6 mos 9 mos 12 mos 18 mos 2 yrs 3 yrs 4 yrs * Knows most of her basic shapes (square, rectangle, circle, triangle) plus others like star, cresent, heart, diamond,etc * Knows all her colors * Knows how to count up to 30 in English and up to 10 in Spanish *Knows how to write and spell her name, also knows her full name *Knows how to say a lot of Spanish words from watching Dora the Explorer and Go Deigo Go, I also reintroduce them throughout the day *Enjoys singing, dancing, coloring, riding her scooter and her bike *Enjoys being read to or "reading" by herself * She has a very active and vivid imagination *Enjoys watching Dora, Deigo, the Backyardigans, Olivia, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Popeye, Mickey Mouse, Little Einstins, Fireman Sam, Franklin, and pretty much anything on Nick Jr I am soooo looking forward to what she will discover and learn as the years go by.  She is such a true blessing in my life and she makes my days brighter.  Even though we have ...

Today I got Eva's 4 yr old pictures, I am planning on getting a lot of them and that way I only need to get a few of her preschool pictures this fall.  I had them done at Target and I have going to them since Eva was 3 mos old and they have always done a fantastic job.  The prices are also a great plus as well. The first few shots are of Eva in her party dress. The next group of pictures of her are Beach themed These are my two favorite collages that they put together of her two outfits. Then I wanted to get new pictures of the girls together and I think this will be something I will do every year.  I also am including my favorite collages/speciality pictures they put together of the girls pictures.
